Chip tuning: what does that mean?
ECU (Engine controlling unit) is a computer, that controls engine's electronic fuel injection, pressure and many parameters that control engines work. Stock made car is adapted to average consumer, with reserve left to maintain further engine development in the future or more powerful / versions of same engine. Fuel economy is not maximized as well.
15-50% more power and torque: Stock turbodiesel car usually has great reserve of power and torque. We can obtain it by correcting file, that is responsible for all engine components work: correcting fuel delivery pressure and quantity, fuel injection angle, power/torque/speed and other limiters, turbocharger pressure (if needed), etc.
Usually we provide average power and torque raising 20-30% more than stock car offers. This is made without any special "violence" to engine. By raising power more more than 30% we usually service engines for sports purposes or other special projects.
Average fuel consumption after chip tuning usually does not exceed stock engine's. Being driven smoothly, engine consumpts up to 15% less diesel fuel (usually 8-10%).
Greatest hidden potential have modern turbodiesel engines: BMW d, HDI, TDI, CDI, JTD, CRDi, DCi, CTDi, CDTi, etc.
From now on, we offer increased fuel economy programming for heavy diesel engine - powered transport: trucks, tractors, buses, etc.
Note: we NEVER use files from cheap databases or non-reputable tuners.
Most European tuners are just buying files, and usually don't know real quality of service that they offer.
If you decide to tune your car, ask tuner about equipment and service quality, also who will make a file for your car - this is important to how long will your engine be working normally.
